Maple Seed Butterfly Materials Needed



Materials Needed:

  • Maple seeds

  • Gold paint

  • Safety pin (you will use it to make the antenna)

  • Toothpick (to do the body for the butterflies)

  • Gold wire netting (to cover the toothpick)

  • Glue (to glue the maple seeds to form the butterflies)



  • Instructions:

    Paint the maple seeds gold. Use the gold wire netting to wrap the toothpick to completely cover it in gold. When you get near the top, wrap the open safety pin to secure it to the toothpick body. Use a strong glue to attach the maple seeds to the body.
