Halloween Crafts

Halloween crafts are all right here!  Halloween is a spooky time of year that is so fun and enchanting for children and adults alike!  It is one of my favorite holidays of the year since the decorating possibilites are nearly endless.

There are some fun craft projects for Halloween listed here. Some projects are perfect for decorating your home for the trick-or-treaters, while others are great projects for the kids to do.  If you are hosting a children's Halloween party I hope you will find some craft ideas here to do with the kiddos!

The fabric stiffened ghost was a craft I did with my Girl Scout troop many, many years ago.  I still have such fond memories of making it as a child and my family kept the decoration for many years.

Candy Corn Bracelet -  Read this project to find out how to make candy corn beads out of a polymer clay cane.  The beads then can be used for a bracelet, necklace, and earrings!

Carve a Pumpkin - Excellent tips from choosing a pumpkin, transferring patterns, preserving and photographing your pumpkin, to directions on how to bake the seeds.

Fabric Stiffened Ghost - Fabric is coated with starch and a ghost shape is formed.  When it is dry, the fabric is stiff and nothing is underneath holding it up.  Ghostly!

Halloween Art Project - Red, orange, and yellow paint creates a sunset background, while black objects are painted on the foreground.

Homemade Halloween Costumes - This page takes you to a collection of homemade Halloween costumes you can make yourself, complete with step by step instructions.

Jingle Bell Spider - A cute spider is made using jingle bells, pipe cleaners, and beads.

Spider Ring - This pretty spider ring is made using acrylic gems.

Paper Mache Pumpkins - These pumpkins are made by wrapping newspaper strips around a balloon.  They can then be added to a string of lights to create a unique decoration.

Paper Strip Pumpkin - This is a nice Halloween craft for children.  Paper strips are attached in the center and at the tips, then spread out to create a pumpkin.

Pumpkin Beaded Safety Pin - Seed beads are threaded on to safety pins to create a pumpkin pattern.

Q-tip Skeleton - A great Halloween project for kids.  Q-tips are glued to paper to create a skeleton.

Spider Craft - A foam ball is painted and pipe cleaners are used to make the legs.  Cute Halloween decoration!

Spider Nest Craft - Fake spiders crawl all over this creepy nest!  Hang it near your front door and watch the trick-or-treaters proceed with caution!

Spider Web Earrings -  A Halloween craft project for adults.  Earrings look like a tiny spider suspended from a spider web.  Only a few materials are needed and these are inexpensive to make.

Spooky Ghost Necklace - White glue and paper clips are all that is needed to make these spooky ghosts.
