Paper Craft Lid for a Container

Paper Craft Lid for a Container

Materials needed:

  • Paper

  • Glue

  • Ribbon

  • Pin

  • Wood beans

  • This paper craft lid project shows you how to make a pretty cover for a jar or other container. First cut strips of your paper (4cm width, 27 cm height for example). Fold it in half lengthwise, then begin to make a spiral with the paper. Glue it to form a tight circle, the same size as you want your lid to be. Then wrap a ribbon around the outside of the spiral and glue it in place. Take a wooden bead, put a pin inside and ta da your paper craft lid for a yogurt or other type of container is ready.
You can put two more wood beans at the ends of the ribbon.

    Scrapbooking Paper

This is beautiful work Sylvie! I love how you use paper (which most everyone has on hand) to make a unique lid. I bet blending a few coordinating scrapbooking patterned papers would create a beautiful look too. Thank you for sharing!
