Question about acrylic paints

I am doing the acrylic paint clear glass ball ornaments. I find that the reds do not do as well as other paint colors. Is there a reason for this?

Answer: Some acrylic paints may be a little thicker than others in consistency. This does not have to do with the color of the paint, but instead will depend on how old the paint is, or what brand it is. If one of the paints seems thicker than the others it may not swirl as well with the other colors. I suspect this may be what is occurring with your red paint. You can thin acrylic paint down by adding a bit of water, until it is the same consistency as your other colors you are using.
